1. The SERS Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau (Implementing Agency) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Food System Resilient Program - FSRP and it intends to apply and proceeds toward payments under the Construction of Sala Small Scale Irrigation Project (North Ari Woreda 80 ha).
2. The SERS Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau invites eligible bidders (WWC/GWWC Grade three and above contractors) should submit VAT certificate, TIN No, Renewed trade license for the current year 2017 EC.
3. The SERS Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for ET-SER- ILLDB-FSRP-464883-CW-RFB for the Procurement of Construction of Sala Small Scale Irrigation Project (North Ari Woreda 80 ha).
4. Bidding will he conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all bidders.
5. The provisions in the Instruction to bidders and conditions of contracts are the provisions of World Bank bidding document: Procurement of works.
6. 6.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the SERS Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau at the address below during office hour from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
7. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and up on payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 400.00. The method of payment will be in cash or cashier's check.
8. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 400,000.00 in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee and the bid must stay for 30 days from the announcement date and delivered to the address below on 31st day before 8:00 afternoon local time. The bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or representatives of bidders who choose to attend at 8:30 afternoon local time on the date as the closing at SERS Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau.
9. Late bids will be rejected.
10. Bidders with poor efficiency of construction in the bureau or in the region and having been black listed in the country for non-performing history with projects cannot compete for the bid.
11. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid
