1. The Amhara Region Bureau of Agriculture has received financing/grant/credit) from the African Development Bank (AfDB) toward the cost of Climate Resilient Wheat Value Chain Development (CREW) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the construction of Three small scale irrigation schemes.
2. The Amhara Region Bureau of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for works contract

3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding /National (OCBN) procedures as specified in the African Development Bank's Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement framework.
4. Interested eligible bidders with Water Works License /Grade 5 (five) and above/ may obtain further information from ANRS Agriculture Bureau (Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate) and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:30 A.M to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders from the ANRS Agriculture Bureau, Finance Procurement and Property Administration Directorate /Kebele 03/, Ground floor room number '20/21' upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500 /Five Hundred Birr/. The bid document will be directly sent by the bidder or its legal representative upon the submission of a written application request.
6. Bids must be delivered to the ANRS Agriculture Bureau, Procurement, Finance and property Administration directorate, room number 16, Bahir Dar Kebele 03, on or before the closing date 23 November 2026 at 10:00AM.
7. Bids shall be publicly opened at main hole in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives who choose to attend the opening date 23 November 2026 at 10:15 A.M. If the bid opening date is on Holiday, opening date will be the next working day. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late Bids shall be rejected.
8. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the year 2025/2026 G.C.
9. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bids without giving reasons, therefore, and to waive informalities and irregularities, which do not constitute a material modification in the bids received.
