Tearfund invites all interested and eligible bidders by this Open Tender for the purchase of one electric vehicle with the following model for the Tearfund country office

BID ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FULL ELECTRIC VEHICLE

Tearfund is a development and humanitarian organization based in the United Kingdom. It has been working through partners in over 50 countries worldwide including in Ethiopia, since the early 1970s. Tearfund's vision is to see people released from extreme poverty by helping the poorest of the poor in society to unlock their potential.

Tearfund invites all interested and eligible bidders by this Open Tender for the purchase of one electric vehicle with the following model for the Tearfund country office.

Those potential suppliers who are fulfilling the below requirements can apply for the announced bid

1. Trade license and renewed for 2017 E.C, TIN, VAT and Registration Certificate
2. A supplier which has the previous experience of supplying Hybrid Electric vehicles.
3. A supplier which can provide manufacturer warranty.

The applicants could buy the copies of bid documents by paying non-returnable of birr 200.00 (two hundred birr) to obtain the bid document and each bidder expects to fill the quotation form in the bid document and will submit a copy of all legal documents.

The interest applicant could submit the copies of required documents with two wax sealed envelopes both in original and copy within Eight (8) working days of the announcement

Document Establishing Eligibility of the Bidders

The bidding document shall be accompanied with the following documentations (duly prepared and filled in as required in this bid document) which will form part of the administrative compliance criteria.

Failure to comply with any of the below administrative criteria will result in the rejection of the bid document from further consideration:

1. Renewed trade license for 2017 E.C & Trade Registrations
2. TIN and VAT certificates
3. Filled in "bid submission form"
4. Evidence of experience on supplying electric vehicles to Government and UN agencies.
5. Bid bond equivalent to 2% of the total bid amount as per the bid document
6. Copy of Cash Receipt Voucher issued by Tearfund for the sale of this bidding document
7. All necessary documents that will be submitted for this particular bid must be stamped and signed on each page by the bidder

Collection of Bid Documents and Opening:

1. Bid document entitled "Bid Document for Purchase of Electrical Vehicle for Tearfund Country Office, Addis Ababa" can be obtained from Tearfund office by paying non-refundable Bir 200 (Two hundred) starting from Wednesday February 5,2025
2. All offers must be submitted on or before 14 February 2025 at 11:30 AM (5:30 AM local time in the morning) in a wax-sealed envelope and addressed to:

3. Bids will be opened on 14 February 2025 at 02:00 PM (8:00 AM local time in the morning) in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
