Invitation for open Bid NCB MOI/OS-IAIP 01/2025

Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Ministry of Industry (Mol) invites bids from interested eligible bidders for the procurement of vehicles for Operationalization and Sustainability of Integrated Agro Industrial Parks (OS-IAIP) project office.

Therefore, MOI now invites all national (local) registered suppliers for bidding to supply those items indicated in lots below, for use in 2017 E.C budget year (2025)

• Lot-1. PICK UP D/CAB 4WD DIESEL 4 CYLINDER....Quantity-4
• Lot-2. STATION WAGON, DIESEL (5-7 SEATS) Quantity - 1
• Lot- 3. STATION WAGON HARD TOP MWB DIESEL (8-10 SEAT). Quantity-2

Interested bidders shall submit the following legal evidence document:

1. Business organization registration certificate, trade license, and other necessary testimonials issued by the Country of Administration;
2. For local bidders, registered in the Public Procurements & Property Administration Agency, Tax Clearance Certificate including; Renewed Trade License for the current year (2017 E.C. for each purchasing and VAT & TIN Registration Certificates.)
3. For non-local/foreign/bidders, registration certificate or trade license issued by the country of Administration;
4. Bidding should be conducted through the national Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document.
5. Bidders shall submit two envelopes for each lot "Technical Proposal Original & Copy, Bid Security" and "Financial Proposal Original & Copy separately in another envelope. (One original and one copy for both Technical and Financial Proposals.)
6. The bid document shall be obtained on web site www.moi.gov.et & you can collect softcopy from Ministry of Industry.
7. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of the Ministry of Industry OS- IAIP Project office 5th floor room No 511, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 4Kilo at the back of Aberhot Library, Tel. 0917180001.
8. The bid Security must Birr 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand ETB) or equivalent by CPO or unconditional bank guaranty.
9. Bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at Ministry of Industry OS-IAIP project office 5th floor room No 511, Addis Ababa Ethiopia, 4 Kilo at the back of Aberhot Library, starting from Bid Issue date is January 17/2025 G.C. up to February 17/2025 GC at 4:00 Addis Ababa local time.
10. Bids will be closed February 17/2025 GC at 4:00 and opened on the same date at 4:30 Addis Ababa local time in the presence of bidders and/or their official representatives.
11. Successful bidder must submit performance Security 10%/ ten percent/ of estimated total purchase price on contract agreement.
