The Haru Woreda Agriculture and Land Office intends to apply parts of the allocated budget of the Food System Resilience Program financed by the World Bank (IDA) for construction of Akuku Rehabilitation of Small-Scale Irrigation Project located in Haru Woreda of West Wollega.

The Haru Woreda Agriculture and Land Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of the below Small-Scale Irrigation Scheme.

1. The Hara Woreda Agriculture and Land Office, now invites contractors of Category WWC-5 or GC-5 and above to submit sealed Financial and Technical proposal document as further clarified in the bidding document for the execution and completion of the cited contract.
2. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased from Haru Woreda finance Office in working hours upon submission of a written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Birr) in cash for the Project, starting from the date of this notice.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Haru Woreda Agriculture and Land Office and inspect the bidding documents, including a complete set of Engineering Drawings in scanned copy which is necessary for bidding purposes, at the address given below at office hours.
4. Bids must be delivered to the Haru Woreda Finance Office on or before 10/01/2025 at 10:00 A.M. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the Haru Woreda Finance Office on the same date 10/01/2025 at 10:30 A.M.
5. Bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after bid closing and must be accompanied by a bid security of 400,000.00 (Four hundred thousand ETB) in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) or an Unconditional Bank Guarantee must be submitted in the name of Haru Woreda Agriculture and Land Office.
6. Qualification criteria stated on the bid document should be respected and have to be addressed in a brief and clear way.
7. The Woreda Agriculture and Land Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
