Request for Expression of Interest (EOI)

For Consultancy Service for Architectural and Engineering Design Review of G +5 City Administration Building Project

We Request for expression of interest (UT) from qualified consultant companies with the required expertise send experience for the above noted project. Please be informed that:

1. The study area is located in the Southern part of Ethiopia, particularly in the Oromia regional state in the West Ansi Zone Shashemene City, the capital of West Anis Zone is located at around 250 Kim to the South of Finfinnee (Addis Ababa). The project area is accessible from Finfinnee town on the way to Hawassa city, about 250km by Asphalt Road
2. The consulting firm-specific tasks will include but aren't limited to the following activities

1. Undertake detail Architectural and Engineering Design Review (Architectural, Structural, Sanitary, Mechanical & Electrical Designs etc.
2. Ensure that the works under construction are constricted in accordance with the General and Special Condition of Contract, The Technical Specifications and Engineering Drawing and any amendments thereto.
3. To optimize the use of available material resources, to minimize costs to the employer and to expedite construction
4. To ensure that the work under construction is constructed within the contract prior and time for completion allowed under

the contract and any agreed amendments thereto,

5.  advice to the client on progress work
6. inspection and testing of all necessary work
7. Study/detailing of design, construction drawing for existing building and quantification remains work
8. h) Review of previous contract
1. Review of previous BOQ and preparing of New BOQ
10. Preparation of engineering cost estimation for the remaining works.

3. Shashemene City Finance Office invites eligible grade one Special consulting firms. Grade-One in Consulting Architect and Engineers("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing information related to their general experience and similar experience in the past 6 years, company profile to show managerial capability and organizational structure, 4 years financial Audit report with an average annual turnover of at least ETB 2,000,000, all the above criteria to be presented with Testimonials to perform the Services
4. Expression of interest (E01) must be delivered to the address below on the 15th of the day starting from the day of invitation of the EIO posted on the new 'paper at 4:00 am.
5. The Shashemene City Finance Office reserves the right to reject any bid to annul the bidding process and reject all bids

at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders.
