1. The East Hararghe Zone Irrigation and Pastoral Development Office is inviting eligible bidders for the construction of the Ambo small-scale irrigation project located in Metta Woreda, funded by the European Union. Interested parties can reach the office in Tel No. 256667987/1583
2. Bid is open for all eligible bidders fulfilling the following criteria
   1. Construction work License of WWC-4 and above renewed for 2017 EC and those currently registered from the mandated public body for the registration of contractors is. Ministry of Construction or/and Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity or Oromia Construction Authority
   2. Have registration for VAT and Tas dentification number (TIN) together with written clearance from Revenue Authority that enables to participate on bid.
   3. Who Have done similar Irrigation and water supply projects. Moreover, to be Eligible for this bid, a bidder should be none black listed and None track record of termination of projects with clients at regional or Zonal offices. The site location and names of project is

5. All Bids must be accompanied by bid security in an acceptable form of certified CPO of Birr 300,000 (Three hundred thousand birr) valid for 90 days and only shall be delivered to East Hararghe Zone Finance and Economic Development office on or before 21 working days starting from the 1" announcement day up to 3:30 PM closing date at the address specified below. Late bidder will be rejected

7. The technical and financial for all bid documents envelops should be submitted as follows: -

1. The "Technical original and two (2) copies of bid document should be sealed in separate envelope and marked "original technical document" and "copy of technical document" respectively. The envelopes should then be sealed in an outer envelope" Technical document.
2. The financial original and two (2) copies of financial document should be sealed in separate envelops and marked "original financial document" and "copy of finical document respectively. The envelopes should then be sealed in an outer envelope financial document", clearly and separately. Bids will be opened on the same date of bid closing at 4:00 PM with the presence of the bidders and their authorized representatives who are interested to attend at East Hararghe Zone Administration Office there will be public holiday or weekend on this day the closing and opening day of the bid will take place
