The Amhara National Regional State West Gojjam administrative zone Burie Zuria woreda Agriculture Office through the Government of Ethiopia has received credit and grant from the IDA toward the cost of Food System Resilience Program (FSRP) and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for which this invitation is issued.

1. The Amhara National Regional State West Gojjam Administrative zone Bure Zuria Woreda Finance Office now invites eligible bidders, who have General contractor construction license Grade GC level 5 and above for the construction of the following 8 Bridge construction projects.

2. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure specified in the World Bank's Procurement Guidelines: through IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
3. Bidders should be evaluated with their attached technical proposal documents against technical evaluation criteria of bidding documents and based on required Specification.
4. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after bid opening including 30 days as per ITB 18.2.
5. The amount of bid security 200,000 (two hundred thousand birr) in the form of Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for ninety days (90) days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
6. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses, which are renewed for the year 2016 E.C. The following document & /Renewed license, Level 5 and above GC qualification certificate, VAT Registration Certificate & Tax payer Identification number/TIN. So, the Bidder should have to be attached this document with technical proposal of their Bids document.
7. Bid must be delivered to Amhara National Regional State, at West Gojjam Administrative zone Burie Zuria woreda Finance office (Procurement & Property Administration team) office no-02 at Buries town before 4:00 AM local time on November 19/2017 EFY Bids shall be opened at 4:30 AM on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend.
8. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the current budget year (2016 E.C).
9. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, 'Qualification information' in one envelope and "Financial Bid and bid security" separately in another envelope and should be combined in one sealed in an outer envelope.
10. A complete set of bidding documents in English purchased from West Gojjam Ad- ministrative zone Burie Zuria woreda Finance Office no-02 (Procurement & Property Administration team) at Buries town up on payment of a none refundable fee Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr only) or equivalent amount by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address indicated above and the bidder can get /take necessary bid documents from Finance office no-02 until November 18/2017 EFY 11. Bids shall be closed on November 19/2017 EFY at 4:00 AM morning local time and opened at 4:30 AM morning local time on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend it. Late bids will be returned.
11. The office reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.
