INVITATION TO BID (ITB) – PROCUREMENT OF TWO ELECTRIC VEHICLES RE-ADVERTISEMENT

YADAM Foundation invites sealed bids from qualified and experienced vehicle suppliers/dealers for two (2) new fully electric vehicles: Lot 1 – one 5 up to 6 seat electric SUV (BYD Yuan Plus or equivalent); Lot 2 – one 7 up to 10 -seat electric MPV (Wuling Xingguang or equivalent). Submit competitive Technical and Financial Proposals.

2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (BOTH VEHICLES)
Must be fully electric (not hybrid/PHEV), new/unregistered, Ethiopian-compliant and suitable for local roads; include standard manufacturer equipment/accessories, owner's manuals/technical documents, appropriate charging equipment, standard tools/safety equipment, spare parts/technical support, warranty documentation, battery warranty/capacity/conditions, maintenance schedule, and charging-time/requirements information. Superior specifications should be clearly indicated.
3. BIDDER ELIGIBILITY / SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS
Valid business/trade registration; tax registration/clearance where applicable; company profile and relevant vehicle-supply experience; manufacturer authorization/dealership certificate where applicable; at least two previous supply contracts/customer references where available; technical brochures/specifications; warranty & after-sales arrangements; spare-parts/maintenance evidence; valid quotation with unit/total price; and other applicable procurement documents.
4. TECHNICAL & FINANCIAL PROPOSAL
Technical: make, model, manufacture year, battery capacity, range, seating, charging system, warranty and specifications. Financial: unit price per vehicle; taxes/duties; detailed pricing/options/upgrades; delivery/payment terms; warranty/service support; technical sheets; delivery/transport; charging equipment/accessories; other charges; total bid price in ETB. Price validity: at least 60 days from deadline.
5. DELIVERY, AFTER-SALES & EVALUATION
Delivery: YADAM Foundation Head Office within five (5) calendar days after purchase agreement/PO. Supplier to provide technical support, warranty service, preventive-maintenance information and spare parts. Evaluation: technical compliance, quality, warranty, after-sales service, supplier experience/reputation, delivery period/service agreements, and financial competitiveness/total cost of ownership. YADAM reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids in accordance with its procurement procedures.

BID SUBMISSION DATE & TIME: Bid document submission is accepted strictly From October 28, 2026, up to November 02, 2026 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (during regular organization working hours). Late submissions will not be considered.

7. NOTE
YADAM Foundation requires a receipt for the sales transactions.
