TO ALL CONTRACTORS CATEGORY GC-5/BC-5 & ABOVE WITH RENEWED TRADE LICENSE AND REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE VALID FOR THE CURRENT YEAR

1. The B/G/R/S/ Education Bureau now invites bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the Construction of VIP Latrine in B/G/R/S/ Education Bureau, Assosa Town.
2. Bidders may obtain further information, inspect, or collect the bidding documents at the B/G/R/S/ Education Bureau Procurement & Property Administration Directorate office No 08, P.O. Box 64, Tel. 0577752979, Asossa.
3. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased at the above office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 700.00 (Seven Hundred) from the first date of announcement on newspaper from 2:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at local time from Monday to Friday at the above mentioned office.
4. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of 200,000.00 ETB (Two Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of C.P.O only and must be delivered to in the name of B/G/R/S/ Education Bureau.
5. Interested bidder must present valid documentary evidences, including.
   • 5.1. Renewed trade License for the current year
   • 5.2. Tax clearance certificate for the current year,
   • 5.3. VAT & TIN registration certificate
   • 5.4. Active supplier registration on the PPA/ (e-GP) website (https://egp.ppa.gov.et).
6. Bid will be closed on the first 20 calendar days of the announcement at 4:00a.m and open on the same date 4:30a.m local time in the morning in the presence of bidders and legal representatives at B/G/R/S/ Education Bureau procurement & property administration directorate room no 08.
7. If the 20th consecutive calendar day is holyday, opening and closing will be the next working day at the same time.
8. Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 days (sixty days) and bid security shall be valid for 60 days after bid opening.
9. The financial proposal of the bidder who pass technical qualification criteria shall be opened in the presence of the bidders who choose to attend on the date to be announced by the employer.
10. Bidders shall submit their proposal in sealed, stamped & signed envelopes delivered to B/G/R/S/Education Bureau Procurement & Property Administration Directorate Room No 08 as follows;
    • Outer mother envelope labeled appropriately
    • Containing separate sealed envelopes for:
      • One original & two copy of the technical document (each labeled as "original" and "copy") sealed in one inner mother envelope.
      • One original & two copy of the financial document (each labeled as "original" and "copy") sealed in one inner mother envelope.
      • CPO
11. Bidders are required to visit the site and read the bidding document and the instruction to bidders thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the schedule.
12. The construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of 60 calendar days starting from the commencement of the work.
13. No advance payment granted to the Contractor.
14. The financial arithmetic error plus or minus 3 (three) percentages in the document, the bidder must be rejected from the computation.
15. The B/G/R/S/Education Bureau reserves the right to reject all or any of the bids.
