OPEN CALL FOR CONSULTANT SERVICE ON LABOUR MARKET STUDY

ADRA Ethiopia is a non-profit, Non-Political and Non-Governmental organization which has been operational in Ethiopia since 1982. ADRA Ethiopia's mission is to work with people in poverty and distress to create positive change and justice through empowering partnerships and responsible action, regardless of race, ethnic origin, gender, religion or age. ADRA Ethiopia's Strategic Plan is in line with the SDGs and concentrates on poverty reduction by implementing sustainable development projects which focus on building the capacity of individuals and communities to enable them to eventually support themselves. ADRA Ethiopia is involved in WASH, Education, Agriculture & livelihood and renewable energy clusters in Ethiopia, both at the federal and regional levels.

With funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), ADRA Ethiopia and its partners EECMY-DASSC and ESD are currently supporting the government effort in the TVET sector focusing on youth job creation in the digital and renewable energy sector. The overall objective of BMZ funded "Skills for Digital and Green Economy project" is to support unemployed young people in Ethiopia to acquire and apply market-relevant digital, green and entrepreneurial skills and to transition into wage employment or self-employment. It strengthens four partner TVET colleges in Amhara, Sidama, South Ethiopia and Dire Dawa by improving the enabling environment for quality labour-market oriented blended VET.

Given this brief background, ADRA Ethiopia and its partners are pleased to invite qualified and experienced (in similar/ related study) consultancy firms (legally established & registered in the country) or qualified freelance to submit their SERVICE PROPOSAL (financial and technical separately) to conduct a labour market survey in the digital and green skills sector in recognized public and private TVET colleges in the three regions and city administration.

ADRA Ethiopia its partners would like to invite all interested and qualifying firms and individuals to participating in this open call.

Participants should collect the TORS (Terms of References) by paying non-returnable 1000.00 Birr from the next date of this announcement on newspaper.
