INVITATION TO BID

1.      The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS), Amhara Regional Branch. hereby invites all eligible and qualified contractors of category BC/GC 5 and above with valid trade license, registration certificate and eligible to execute building Renovation project for ERCS Central Gondar Zonal Branch at Gondar, by furnishing the necessary labor, Materials and Equipment.

2.      The bidders shall submit renewed trade license of the year 2018 EC, Registration certificate. TIN NO. VAT Registration, Supplier's list, Tax payer certificate. Tax Clearance Certificate and renewed competence certificate issued by authorized government body.

3.      Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document by depositing a non- refundable payment amount ETB 1000 (One thousand Birr) on CBE Account Number 1000016657577 in the name of Ethiopian Red Cross Society Amhara Regional Branch Office then submit bank advice and collect the bidding document from Amhara Regional Branch Office at Bahir Dar

4.      All tenders must submit to Ethiopia Red Cross Society Amhara Regional Branch Office along with a Bid Security Bid Bond in CPO only as Specified in the bidding data sheet amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The CPO Should be valid for 28 consecutive days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid.

5.      Financial offer shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY: TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third sealed envelope clearly labeled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The four envelopes including the CPO shall then be sealed, signed, and Stamped inside a sealed signed and stamped outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopia Red Cross Society Amhara Region Branch office.

6.      The bid advertised/floated for fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days and will be closed on 15th calendar day at 2:00 pm, and technical document will be opened on the same day at 2:30 pm in the presence of those bidders on their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS Amhara regional branch office meeting hall.

7.      Bidders are kindly requested to submit their price quotation along with technical document based on detailed requirements on our Bill of Quantity on or before 15th at 2:00 PM.

8.      Bidders are advised to read bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bidding document.

9.      If the 15th consecutive calendar day is holiday opening and clothing will be on the next working day at the same time sated above.

10. Failure to comply with the conditions from No.1 to 9 above may result in an automatic rejection.

11. Ethiopia Red Cross Society Amhara Regional Branch Office reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders.
