Islamic Relief Ethiopia (IRE) has been operating in Ethiopia since 2004. implementing humanitarian and development programs across Addis Ababa City Administration and various regional states, including Oromia. Somali, and Afar. Through its interventions. IRE has provided lifesaving humanitarian assistance and sustainable development support to millions of vulnerable people in partnership with local communities and government institutions.
Islamic Relief Ethiopia hereby invites eligible and qualified External Audit Service Providers to submit sealed bids for conducting the Annual Statutory Audit of Islamic Relief Worldwide Ethiopia Office for the financial year ended 31 December 2026.
Interested firms must meet the following requirements:
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be legally registered and licensed to operate in Ethiopia and possess a valid License for Ethiopian Fiscal Year 2018 E.C
2. Must have proven experience in conducting audits of International NGOs, donor-funded projects, and financial statements.
3. Must possess an Audit Firm License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
4. Audit firms affiliated with internationally recognized accounting and auditing firms or professional networks will have an added advantage. Documentary evidence of, such affiliation. partnership, membership, or network association should be submitted as part of the bid.
5. Must submit:
§ Company Profile
§ Copy of valid business license and tax registration certificate
§ VAT/TIN registration certificate
§ Evidence of relevant audit assignments undertaken for NGOs and international organizations
§ List and CVs of key professional staff proposed for the engagement
§ Technical proposal
§ Financial proposal in a separate wax-sealed envelope
Purchase of Bid Documents
A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained by interested eligible bidders from Islamic Relief Ethiopia country office Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the address indicated below no later than 10:00 A.M. on 22 September 2026.

§ Bid Opening Date and Time: 22 September 2026 at 10:30 A.M. (Local Time)
Late submissions will not be accepted.

Islamic Relief Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, or to cancel the tender process in whole or in part, without assigning any reason thereof.
