The ETHIOPIAN ELECTRIC POWER has received a credit from International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for splitting of asset, liability and capital of the former Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation into Ethiopian Electric Power /EEP/ and the Ethiopian Electric Utility /EEU/.
The services include but not limited to, balance sheet division between EEP and EEU in a manner that address the outstanding issues/actions and recommendations that were raised during the past audits including the recommendations of JIT assessment within five months.
The ETHIOPIAN ELECTRIC POWER now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines:Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011.
