The Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP), financed by the IDA and IFAD under the SRA, office of the president would like to invite qualified applicants for the following positon:
- Position: Procurement officer
Education: BA/BSC Degree in Purchasing or Procurement, Supply Management, Economics, Management, Accounting, Engineering and related fields of studies.
Work experience: Eight years in procurement experience, at least four years in donor-funded projects.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Good ability in using computer application software,
- Ability to work in a team and independently,
- Good communication and interpersonal skills,
- Good report writing skills.
- Knowledge of working language (speaking, writing and reading of the region)
Terms & conditions of the post:
Terms of Employment: One-year contract with possible extension
- Salary As per the project scale
- Duty Station: Jigjiga with extensive field trips to project woredas in pastoral and agro-pastoral areas.
