1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 800 June of2011
2. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of,Public Sector Capacity Building Project (PSCAP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the supply, installation and commissioningof two Community Radio stations.
3. TheMinistry of Communication and Information Technology now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning oftwo Community Radio Stations
4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information fromMinistry of Communication and Information Technology, Public Sector Capacity Building Project (PSCAP) Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30 AM 12:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday
6. Qualifications requirements include: At least two contracts completed successfully of similar nature and size within the last 2 years. Additional details are provided in the bidding Documents.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 350.00Ethiopian Birr or the equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash or Cashier's Check. The Bidding Documents will be sent by Courier service.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 3:00 P.M onMay 30, 2012
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

10. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 60,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
