IFB Title:Supply and Delivery ofICT Equipments. Procurement of ICT Equipments,

IFB No: Amhara/G-01/2012

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 800, 16 June 2011.
2. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the International Development Association and Development Partners towards the cost of Additional Financing on Public Sector Capacity Building Program (PSCAP)and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery ofICT Equipments.
3. TheAmhara Regional State Civil Service Bureaunow invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for

1. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Amhara Regional State Civil Service Bureau Public Sector Capacity Building Program (PSCAP)and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday.
3. Qualifications requirements include:

Bidders must submit Manufacturer Authorization Certificate, Manufacturing ISO Quality Certificate or the equivalent and documentary evidence of past performance and capable of similar assignment for the last five years together with their Bids. Margin of preference for eligible national Manufacturers shall be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

• A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased byinterested bidders from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Birr 150.00 (Birr one hundred Fifty) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be Cash. The Bidding Documents will be sent by first class mail for oversea bidders who send a crossed Bank Draft of Birr 1000 (Birr one thousand) oran equivalent amount in a freely convertible currencyin addition to the price of the bid Documents to the address specified below. However, theAmhara Regional State Civil Service Bureau will not responsible for late or non-delivery of the bid Documents sent by mail. No extension in bid submission date is permitted on this account.
• Amhara National Regional State Civil Service Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids if necessary. The offer must be valid for 120 days from the bid submission date.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on orbefore 13 June 2012 at 2:30PM.Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below. The Bid will be opened on13 June 2012at 3:00PM.at the following address.

Each Lot must be accompanied by Bid Securityfor amount stipulated as follows:

LOT 1: ETB 204,000 orequivalent amount in any freely convertiblecurrency;

LOT 2: ETB 42,500 orequivalent amount in any freely convertible currency;
