Contract Title: Supply and delivery of Office Equipment

Reference No. SLMP/ICB/03/2013

1.        The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian has received  financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sustainable Management Project II , and intends to apply part of the proceeds to ward payments under the contract for Supply and delivery Office Equipment

2. The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

3. Bidding will be conducted through the InternationalCompetitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works andNon-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 settingforth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture Procurement Case Team and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 9.00 to 12.00 a.m. and from 2.00 to 5.00 p.mat the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 300.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.  The method of payment will be Cash

6. Bids must be delivered to the address belowon or before April 3, 2015 at 14:00 P.M. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on April 3, 2015 at 14:15 P.M .

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Ethiopian Birr 200,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency of eligible country..
