        Contract Title: Procurement of Server, Router, UPS   & Microsoft windows server operating system (NOS)

1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) toward the cost of the Pastoral Community Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Server, Router, UPS and Microsoft windows server Operating system (NOS)

  2.  The Pastoral Community Development Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of:-

3.     Bidding will be conducted through the National competitive Bidding ( NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers version April,2015 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined  in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

4     Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Federal Project coordination unit, procurement           office and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 p.m at the address given below.

5.    A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 150.00 ( ETB One hundred fifty ) or in a convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash or CPO.

6.   Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before April 30, 2018 at 3:00 p.m Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend the opening at the address below on April30, 2018 at 3:30 p.m

7.    All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of ETB 10,000.00 for Lot I, ETB 3.000.00 for Lot II,           ETB 1, 000.00 for lot III and ETB 3,000.00 for lot IV
