SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE FOR THE SECOND TIME

Contract Title: Procurement of Automobiles Sedans with field kits of spare parts

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Quality Infrastructure Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract: Procurement of Automobile Sedans with field kits of spare parts.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of Automobiles as indicated below.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, 2016 and is open to all eligible bidders  as defined in the guidelines.

And inspect the bidding documents from the Ministry of Trade and Industry at the address below during office hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable ETB (Local currency) 200.00 or equivalent amount in easily convertible currency The method of payment shall be in cash or cashier’s cheque or CPO to the Ministry of Trade and Industry- National Quality Infrastructure Development Project (MoTI-NQIDP). All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 32,500.00

Or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below by 10:00 AM local time on 25th February 2020.

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below by 10:30 AM local time on 25th February 2020.

Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document
