Contract Title:  Computer, Printer, Server, Network items and related IT equipment for Ethiopian National Accreditation Office ENAO and Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE).

1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Quality Infrastructure Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract: Computer, Printer, Server, Network items and related IT equipment for Ethiopian National Accreditation Office (ENAO) and Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE)

2. The Ministry of Trade and Industry now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply, Installation and Commissioning of Computer, Printer, Server, Network items and related IT equipment for Ethiopian National Accreditation Office (ENAO) and Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) as indicated below.

Remark: The Quantity in each item will be reflected in the bidding document.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers” July 2016  “Procurement Regulation” and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation.

5. A complete set of bidding documents (in pdf) will be sent in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable ETB (Local currency) 400.00 or USD 25. The Bank advice can be sent electronically to M/s Redeat Alemayehu via email (redualex771@gmail.com). Please deposit under Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). No. 0100511300018 for foreign currency.  

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM local time on June 22, 2020. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below by 10:30 AM local time on June 22, 2020. Late bids will be rejected.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security to the amount stated against each lot in the following table or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document
