1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the national quality infrastructure development project , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of supply installation and commissioning of separate Datacenter solution for Ethiopia Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) National Metrology Institute of Ethiopia (NMIE) and Ethiopian Standard Agency (ESA).

2. The Ministry of Trade and Industry now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of supply installation and commissioning of separate Datacenter solution for Ethiopia Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) National Metrology Institute of Ethiopia (NMIE) and Ethiopian Standard Agency (ESA).

3.        Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

and inspect the bidding document during office hours  8:30 AM to 5:30 PM hours at the address given below.

5.         The bidding document in English  may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee ETB 400.00 or USD 25.00. The method of payment shall be in cash or

cashier’s cheque or CPO to the Ministry of Trade and Industry - National Quality Infrastructure Development Project (MoTI-NQIDP). The method of payment will be through Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). The Account details are: Ministry of Trade and Industry- National Quality Development Project (NQIDP), Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Account No. 1000274256967 for local currency and Acc. No. 0100511300018 for Foreign Currency.

6.        Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM local time on March 10, 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 2:30 PM Local time on March 10, 2021.

7.        All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security to the amount stated against each lot in the following table or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

8.        “Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.”
