1. 1. The Ethiopian Investment Commission, Economic Opportunities Program (EOP) has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Economic Opportunities Program (EOP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for procurement of IT equipment with Accessories.
   2. The Ethiopian Investment Commission, Economic Opportunities Program (EOP) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of various IT Equipment with Accessories  listed here under:
   3. Bidders may bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the bidding document.  Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so provide those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.
   4. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bid (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s procurement regulations for the IPF borrowers: ‘Procurement in Investment Project Financing, Goods, works, Non-consulting and Consulting Services, dated July, 2016 revised August 2018 ’.
   5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Economic Opportunities Program (EOP) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday during office hours from 08:30A.M to12:30 P.M and from 1:30PM to 05:30P.M from Monday to Thurs day and from 08:30A.M to 11:30A.M and from 1:30PM to 05:30P.M on Fridays at the address given below.
   6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 100.00 (one hundred). The method of payment will be in CPO or Cash. The Bidding Documents will be issued in person to whom delegated by the bidder.
   7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 30 December 2019, 10:00 A.M. local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. 
   8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below 30 December 2019, 10:30 A.M. local time.
   9. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Lot I: Birr 50,000.00, Lot II: Birr 10,000.00, Lot III: Birr 10,000.00, Lot IV: 15,000.00, Lot V: Birr 10,000.00 and Lot VI: Birr 10,000.00 from recognized and authorized Commercial Banks operating in Ethiopia in the form Bank guarantee or CPO and a sum of the amounts for each lot if the bidder wants to participate for more than one lot.
