1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Oromia Forested Landscape Program, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of MRV equipment.
2. The Oromia Environmental Protection Authority (OEPA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for procurement of plotter, color printer, digitizing table, Smart Tablets) and its full functioning accessories ( ASA firewall, distribution switch, Access switch, 1 server, etc.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 and revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Oromia Environmental Protection Authority, Procurement, Finance and Property Administration Directorate and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 9:00am to 12:00am and 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr (ETB) 200 (Two hundred). The method of payment will be in cash.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00am, April 21, 2022. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 10:30am, April 21, 2022.
7. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of Ethiopian Birr (ETB) 140,000 (One hundred forty thousand) in the form of cash, cheque certified by a reputable bank (CPO), unconditional bank guarantee or letter of credit.
