The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Quality Infrastructure Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract: Procurement of the supply, installation and commissioning of Router, Distribution/ core /Aggregate switches, Blade Servers, Ms SQL Server 2019 Standard, Wireless Access Points for data center of EMI, ECAE and IES.

1. The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of the supply, installation and commissioning of Router, Distribution/ core /Aggregate switches, Blade Servers, Ms SQL Server 2019 Standard, Wireless Access Points for data center of EMI, ECAE and IES.  as indicated below

Remark: The Quantity in each item will be reflected in the bidding document.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers” July 2016  “Procurement Regulation” and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation.

4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable ETB 400.00 or USD 7.50. The method of payment shall be in cashier’s cheque or CPO to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration - National Quality Infrastructure Development Project (MoTI-NQIDP).  The Bank advice can be sent electronically to Mr. Bedasa Guteta via email (bedassag@gmail.com). Please deposit under Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). The Account details are: Ministry of Trade and Industry- National Quality Development Project (NQIDP), Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Account No. 1000274256967 for local currency and Acc. No. 0100511300018 for Foreign Currency.

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM local time on 31st  October, 2022. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 31st  October, 2022 at 2:.30 PM local time.

6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security to the amount stated against each lot in the following table or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document
