1. The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project,  and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Safety Materials
2. The Nekemte City Administration Finance Office  Now Invites Sealed Bids From Eligible Bidders For;-

1. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

                  Trading /Business License renewed for bid period and Comercial Registración Certifícate from authorized bodies.

                   I. VAT & Tax payer Identification Certificate issued by the tax authority,

                  II. Tax Clearance certificate issued from the Tax Authority (Inland Revenue Authority) which allows the bidder to participate in public tenders at the date of the deadline for bid submission.

                  III.   Evidence of being registered at Ethiopian Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (FPPA) Supplier list currently

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Nekemte City Administration Finance office in meskel square in front of water office in Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 AM– 5:30 PM (local time) at the address given below.

5.  The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 800 Birr will deposit in Snqe bank the name and method of payment shall be Nekemte Municipality office deposit account and arrive with changed receipt from Nekemte revenue enhancement authorities. The document will be sent by /delivered/ on hand.

6   Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 31/2/2024 at 3:00PM and will be open the same day at 3:30PM on Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below striate address at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit by one Envelop sealed bid documents which containing one original and one copy.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Guarantee issued by a Bank for Lot-1,/35,000 Birr/ Lot-2 /25,000 Birr / and Lot-3 /30,000 Birr / Totally for Lot 1,2 & 3 are =90,000 /ninety  thousand birr only/from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Nekemte City Finance office

8. Nekemte City finance office reserves the right to reject any bid to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time, without there by incurring any liability to Bidders.
