1.    The government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has receivefinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the One WaSH National Program and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contractfor Civil Work Construction with Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings and Electromechanical Equipment for Chercher Town WSP.
2.    Tigray Water and Energy Bureau now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Civil Work Construction with Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings and Electromechanical Equipments for Chercher Town WSP @Chercher Town,souther zone of Tigray Project completion time one year and no margin of preference applied.
3.    Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing,dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 
4.    Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water and Energy Bureau,One WaSH National Program, PMU Coordinator Mr. Dagnew Hagos ,dagnewu.hagos@gmail.com ,0942016820 and Room No 111 New Building, Att.Mr. SamsonBerhane, sbgirmity@gmail.com Room No 111 new buildingand inspect the Bidding document during office hours 2:00-6:30 and 8:00-11:30 local time.
5.    The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 800.00 ETB (Eight Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The method of payment will be paying to the Bureau Casher in person. The document will be sent by in person.
6.    Bids must be delivered to the address below Tigray Water and Energy Bureau on or before 3:00 Local Time, 25April 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below Tigray Water and Energy Bureau on 3:15 Local Time,25April 2024
7.    All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 1,000,000 ETB (One Million Ethiopian Birr).Bid Documents will be purchased from OWNP procurement Section Room No.111 New Building. Starting from 26 March 2024
8.    All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA)and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration.
9.    Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulationsrequiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
