The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Safety Materials

1. The Jimma City Administration Finance Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

1. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Jimma City Administration Finance office Around Abba Jifar Square (locally Known as Arat Anbesa),   Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 AM– 5:30 PM (local time) at the address given below.
3. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200 Birr. The method of payment will be through bank. The document will be sent by /delivered/ on hand.
4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before February 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM (Local Time) and will be open the same day at 2:30PM (Local Time). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address stated below and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and one copy.
5. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by a Bank for Lot-1,  ETB 60,000,   for Lot-2, ETB 60,000  and for Lot-3, ETB 30,000 Totally for Lot 1,2 & 3 are = 150,000 (One hundred fifty thousand  birr only) from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Jimma City Administration Finance office
6. The Jimma City Administration Finance office reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
