1. The Government of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilient Project-LLRP, P 164336, and Credit No. IDA 6412 –ET, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract mentioned above.
2. “Bidders may bid for one or two lots/contracts, as further defined in the bidding document and award is permitted for one and/or two lots/contract.
3. The Benishangul gumuz regional state, office of the President, Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for procurement of 1700 cubic meter gabion wire for gally rehabilitation or maintenance described as follows

1. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” October 2017 “Procurement Regulations”, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
2.  Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Benishangul gumuz regional state, office of the President, Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP),Procurement unit, mobile:+251912117634 email: tigabugury@gmail.com and inspect or receive the bidding document during office hours 2:30 AM (morning) to 5:30 PM (afternoon local time] at address:

  Given below at end of this RFB or through email.

1. The bid floating period is 30 days from 5 December 2024 – 3 January, 2025.
2. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of [Birr 500]. The method of payment will be Bank Deposit to Commercial bank of Ethiopia (Yekolama Akababiwoch yenuro Machashaya project-LLRP Account number_ 1000324230436). The bidding document will be ready available and will collect by in person or through email.
3. Bids must be submitted or delivered to the address below at the end of this RFB on or before [3:00 PM (afternoon local time) 3 January, 2024]. Electronic Bidding [will not] be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bid opening/evaluation committee, Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below [state address at the End of this RFB] on [3 January, 2025 at 3:30 PM afternoon local time].
