Tender for Construction of Hotel

(Guesthouse) Building

Construction Location: Mekenissa area, Woreda 08, Ledeta SubCity, Addis

Ababa, Ethiopia

Ethiopian National Association of the Blind invites eligible and qualified contractors through NCB for the construction and commissioning of a hotel (Basement + Ground + 9 Floors + Terrace Guesthouse), and all associated works.

Eligibility: BC 2 or GC 3 and above contractors;

Technical requirements:

Valid trade license, valid Certificate of Competence issued from concerned government body which aligned with ministry of Urban and Infrastructure, VAT and other tax registration certificate current tax clearance (in case of domestic bidders), Contractor Profile, bid Security of ETB 500,000.00 valid for 60 days from opening date, Business organization registration certificate or trade license issued by the country of establishment, three Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts, Technical Proposal including a statement of work methods, equipment, personnel and schedule site visit certificate given from the Association.

Submission requirements

·         Two separate sealed envelopes and to be delivered to the Association's Head Office.

·         Technical Proposal (copy and original separately)

·         Financial Proposal (copy and original separately)

The bid will be open for a period of 21 days, closing and opening on June 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM with the presence of bidders or their legal representatives.

Bidders can obtain the bid documents from our head office, conveniently located behind Yekatit 12 Hospital in Arada Sub-city, Woreda 06, Addis Ababa City. By paying non-refundable fee of 2,000.00 (Two thousand) Birr.
