Name of Region: Central Ethiopia Regional State Water, Irrigation & Mines Development bureau IFB Title Procurement of Small Work's Contract-Civil Work, and Supply & Installation of Pipes & Fittings and Borehole Drilling

National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

1.       The CER Water Irrigation and Mines Development Bureau has allocated capital & Sustainable Development Goal budget towards the cost of the Water Supply and sanitation projects and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for water supply, Sanitation & hygiene projects.

2.       Bidding will be conducted through a NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDDING (NCB) procedure, and is open to all bidders from eligible source as defined in the Guidelines.

3.       Interested eligible bidders should submit PPA Registration, VAT certificate, TIN No, Renewed trade license for the current year 2018 EC, Certificate of registration in suppliers list/check online on registration of suppliers list, tax clearance certificate issued by the tax authority.

4.       Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all bidders.

5.       Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty- (60) days after bid opening.

6.       Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of bank guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for 90 (Ninety) days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.

7.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the CER Water, Irrigation & Mines Development bureau at the address below on payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 300.00 for each bid document during office hour from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

8.       Bids must be delivered to the CERS-WIMDB Procurement directorate (room Number-22), at or before 2:00 p.m. on 21st day of announcement of this invitation for bid notice on the Ethiopian national newspaper. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

9.       Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on 21st day of this announcement on national newspaper. If there will be public holiday or Weekend on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and the same venue.

10.   We notice that, Bidders are invited to submit financial original plus two copies & technical originals plus two copies separately enclosed in a wax-sealed envelope to the Bureau.

11.   The financial arithmetic error becomes plus or minus two percentages in the document the bidder must be rejected from computation.

12.   the bureau reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid. (NB: - WSSP = Water Supply & Sanitation Project)
