International Medical Corps invites tenders for vehicle rental services at field sites for a period of one year, starting May 1, 2026, with a possible one-year extension.

INVITATION TO TENDER-Advertisement for field Vehicle Rental Services

International Medical Corps, an international NGO registered and licensed in Ethiopia, is looking to work with competent vehicle rental companies and would like to invite eligible companies who have good capacity and satisfactory performance to submit tenders for different vehicle rental services at the field sites listed in Annex 1 of the RFQ a period of one year (with a possibility of additional 1 year with same terms and conditions), starting from May 1, 2026.

List of required vehicles with specifications:

•         4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser long base Model: 1HZ-J78- or equivalent with Driver-Year of Make - 2007 GC or above

•         4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup single cab - Model 1HZ-79 or Tender Opening equivalent with Driver-Year of Make-2007 GC or above

•         4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ76-Model-HZJ76 (MARK II) - or equivalent with Driver-Year of Make-2007 GC or above

Essential requirements

Description of requirements to pass or fail the bid automatically

•         Certificate of Registration/Incorporation

•         The Bid Bond of Birr 400,000.00 must be in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CPO

•         Valid Business License for vehicle rental services

•         Duly filled, signed, and stamped RFQ. Annex 1, Annex 1 (a), Annex 2 (a), and Annex 2 (b) of the tender form are mandatory. Corrected bids using fluid or any other form shall result in disqualification.

•         Duly signed and stamped original and copy (for Annex 2 (b) Financial Offer) tender documents separately prepared and sealed with wax as per the instructions on Annex 1.

Tender documents collection and submission conditions

1.       Only eligible vendors or representatives shall collect tender documents from the International Medical Corps head office from March 1, 2026, until March 16, 2026: working hours, morning from 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon from 1:30 PM to 04:00 PM.

Tender submission conditions

1.       Tender documents must be submitted to the international Medical Corps head office reception with registration and signing on the registration book in Addis Ababa from 10:00 AM GMT+3 to 04:00 PM GMT+3, March 17, 2026, to March 23, 2026

2.       Tender envelopes must be sealed and stamped. Open envelopes will not be accepted.

3.       IMC will not accept tender documents before/after the date and time indicated in no. I above.

Tender opening

The tender opening (for only Technical) will be on March 24,2026, at 10:00 AM GMT+3@IMC office, meeting hall. Bidders are very much encouraged to attend the bid opening process. However, in the absence of bidders, International Medical Corps will continue with the bid opening and evaluation process
