Akaki Kality Sub City Design and Construction Works Office would like to invite Eligiable & Competitive Bidders for supply and fixing of standard LIFT and GENERATOR works. The name of the project, locations, and amount of bid security are indicated in the table below.

1.       Interest potential bidders are required to present renewed relevant trade license for fiscal year, VAT registration certificate, TIN and TAX clearances certificate, and Online supplier list registration certificate.

2.       Bidding document should be prepared in English language.

3.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Akaki Kality SubCity Design and Construction Works Office and inspect the bidding documents, including a complete set of aspecifications which is necessary for bidding purposes.

4.       The bidding procedure to be followed is a single-stage, two- envelope procedure Bidders are required to submit Original and two photocopies each of the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal. The Technical Proposal shall include sealed Original, First Photocopy, Second Photocopy, and the Bid Security (CPO), each placed in a separate envelope. These envelopes shall then be enclosed together in one larger envelope clearly marked "Technical Proposal. "The Financial Proposal shall include the sealed Original, First Photocopy, and Second Photocopy, each placed in a separate envelope. These shall then be enclosed in one larger envelope clearly marked "Financial Proposal." Finally, whole document shall be submit in one large outer envelope and sealed and outer cover contains all necessary information about the bidder& about bid, lot no, employer including project information.

5.       Bidding document can be purchased from Akaki Kality Sub City Design and Construction Works Office (2nd floor) starting from announce date to 15 consecutive counting days and the deadline of the bid submission shall be on 16th day before 10:00 A.M (4:00 in local time) from the day announced on the newspaper.

6.       Bidding documents may be purchased from Akaki Kality SubCity Design and Construction Works Office 2nd floor procurement department against payment of non-refundable fee of 1000.00 (one thousand birr) in cash for each Lot Project within 15 continuous days starting from January 27/ 2026 to February 11/2026.

7.       Any attempt of submission forged (fake) document and/or indication of financial offer on the qualification document shall result in rejection of the bid.

8.       Only financial offers of those bidders who fulfill the minimum must meet evaluation requirements/criteria will be opened. The client shall address the financial opening date and time to the bidders.

9.       A bid security for each lot in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) or an Unconditional Bank Guarantee must be submitted as stated above, in the name of Akaki Kality SubCity Design and Construction Works Office.

10.   The Bid validity period shall be: hundred twenty (120) Calendar days after the latest date for submission of bid.

11.   Akaki Kality SubCity Design and Construction Works Office Has the right to accept or reject any or all bid.
