1. Essera Woreda Agriculture Development and Environmental Protection Cooperative Office Food System Resilience Program Unit have funds with the budget to be used for the procurement of / construction of Nutrition Corner Demonstration center in Dawuro zone Essera Woreda at Shada Tela kebele.
2. Essera Woreda Agriculture Development Environmental Protection and Cooperative Development Office invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of works. mentioned below.
➢ Contractor's registration certificate from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction/Responsible regional office.
➢ GC/BC-6 and above construction company Renewed for the year 2018 E.C > Renewed Trade license for the year 2018 E.C
➢ VAT registration certificate
➢ Updated Tax Clearance from in land revenue-(valid within the bid process time.)
➢ Registration Certificate in the suppliers list under Public Procurement & Property Administration Agency.
3. Bidders should be required to submit application letter, renewed Business license, certificate of competence, valid tax clearance certificate and etc. to collect the bidding document.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open National tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all GC/BC Grade 6 and above eligible bidders.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Essera Woreda Finance, Economy & Development Office-Procurement and Finance Directorate and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 11(a) from 2:30 O'clock to 11:30 O'clock local time
6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below at 11(a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00. The method of payment will be in Essera Woreda Finance, Economy & Development Office. Bidders can collect the Bidding document from address below at 11(b).
7. In addition to the original of the Bid, the number of copies required is: 2 (Two) copies; (Two of Financial & Two of Technical proposal).
8. The Bid will be floated for 21 consecutive calendar days counted from the date of announcement of the tender on the national newsletter.
9. Bid must be delivered to the Address below at 11(b) on or before 22th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender.
10. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security
a. Birr 50,000.00 (fifty thousand birr) in the form of CPO for Nutrition Corner Demonstration Center construction
b. Birr 80,000 (Eighty Thousand Birr) only in the form of CPO for micro house hold irrigation
11. Bids will be closed and opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11 (b) at 8:00 o'clock and 8:30 o'clock local time respectively on 22th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender.

(b) Bids must be delivered to and will be opened at Essera Woreda Finance Economy & Development Office- Procurement and Finance Directorate
12. Essera Woreda Agriculture Development and Environmental Protection Cooperative Office reserve the right to reject any or all bids and any items on the bid.
