INVITATION FOR OPEN BID

TENDER NO. DWP/pu-03/56/18

1.       Debre Berhan Wood Processing PLC. (DWP PLC.) located in Amhara Region, North Showa Zone, invite interested bidders to procure fork lift spare part, plywood machinery's spare part and yellow acid dye packed by Barrel stated and listed in the technical specification of the bid document in kg, pcs and set basis. From suppliers and/or manufacturers through International competitive bidding /ICB/, all eligible bidders are invited to submit sealed bids.

2.       Bidders may purchase a complete set of bidding documents from the office DWP PLC, TEL No. +251 91 036 8437 up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopia Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr) from the date of first publication of this notice in Ethiopian Herald with in office working days and hours including Saturday. The head office is located in Debre berhan city.

3.       Local Bidders or agents shall submit renewed trade license, vat registration certificate, Tax Identification No. and shall provide document to assure fulfillment of tax obligation.

4.       Bidders should participate for all items as a lot project supplier.

5.       The bid must be accompanied by 2% of bid bond form the total bid price, by CPO or unconditional Bank guarantee. Submitting conditional bank guarantee and insurance bound is not allowed.

6.       All bids shall be sealed and delivered to DWP PLC. Electronic bidding is not allowed and late bids will be rejected.

7.       The floating period of the bid is for 46 consecutive calendar days from the date of the announcement on the newspaper.

8.       Bid closing date shall be at the 46 day from the BID announcement, at 10:00 A.M local time} and opened on the same day at 10:30 A.M local time} in DWP PLC office with the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives. If the bid opening date is Holiday, opening date will be the next working day.

9.       DWP PLC. reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid, and to amend the bidding process.

NB.  Saturday is the regular working day of the company.
