Invitation for Bids (IFB)

1. South Ethiopia Regional State Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders with GC-7 or BC-7 and above /for Construction of new residence building for one needy person at south omo zone Dimeka Town Project as stated below.

2. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of South Ethiopia Regional State Procurement Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.
3. Bid must be accompanied by bid security of ETB 20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Birr) in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee, CPO (Certified Payment Order) and shall remain Valid for 88 (eighty-eight) days.
4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr).
5. Bid must be stay for 15 calendar days starting form announcement and delivered to the address stated below on or before 8:00 afternoon local time and Bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or representatives of bidders who choose to attend at 8:30 afternoon local time on the same date of closing at South Ethiopia Regional State Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureau Jinka Town. If the day is holiday the bid will be opened in the next day at the same time mentioned above and must be accompanied by a bid security Stated above in ETB.
6. Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
7. Late bids will be rejected.
8. Bidder with poor efficiency, less than 70% progress of constructions in hands and having been black listed in the country for none performing and termination of a project cannot compete for any bid. (Whenever recognized will automatically be rejected)
9. The South Ethiopia Regional State Irrigation and Lowland Area Development Bureaureserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
