Construction of Gola Chancho New Small Scale Irrigation Project at Ginnir Woreda, East Bale Zone, Oromia Region

The Ginnir Woreda Agriculture, Land and Pastoralist Office intends to apply parts of the allocated budget of the Food System Resilience Program financed by the World Bank (IDA) toward the cost of the Construction of Gola Chancho New Small Scale Irrigation Project in Ginnir Woreda, East Bale Zone, Oromia National Regional State and intends to apply part of the allocated budget toward payments under the contract for Gola Chancho New Small Scale Irrigation Project construction works.

The Ginnir Woreda Finance Office now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors of GWWC/WWC for the construction of the below SSIP project.

1. The Firms are invited to submit their wax sealed Financial and Technical proposal documents as clarified in the bidding document for the execution of the cited contract.
2. A complete set of bidding documents in a softcopy shall be collected from Ginnir Woreda Finance Office upon paying ETB 1000.00 (One Thousand Birr only) to Ginnir Woreda Finance Office during working hours.
3. Bids must be delivered to the address Ginnir Woreda Administration Office, Woreda House of Representative Hall: on or before 10:00 AM on January 21, 2026G.C in a hard copy. Late bids will be rejected.
4. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at Ginnir Woreda Administration Office, Woreda House of Representative Hall: on 10:30 AM on January 21, 2026G.C
5. Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 days after bid closing & must be accompanied by a bid security amount mentioned in the above table for project in the form of cash payment order (CPO) or Unconditional Bank guarantee only.
6. Qualification criteria stated on the bid document should be respected and have to be addressed in a brief and clear way. Further information can be obtained from Ginnir Woreda Agriculture, Land and Pastoralist Office, Ginnir, East Bale Zone, Oromia; during working hours.
7. The Office/Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
