Request for Proposal (RFP)

1. Haverim Construction GC in JV with Alemayehu Ketema GC (the Contractor) has signed Contract Agreement with Ethiopian Roads Administration (the Employer) for the Construction of Remaining Works of Abomesa-Aseko-Bedeyi-Chelelek: Contract 1: (Abomsa-Aseko-Dibu River (Re-Bld) which is located in East Arsi Administrative Zone of Oromia National Regional State. The project road begins at Abomsa town of East Arsi zone which is approximately 220 Km from Addis Ababa.
2. The Contractor has sustained damages of varying degree on five of his major machineries that are found in the Project site. As such, the Contractor intends to secure services of a specialized Asset Valuator to evaluate and understand the value of the suffered damage.
3. The Contractor hereby invites interested Asset Valuators who can submit:
   1. Valid Trade Licence and Business Registration Certificate renewed for 2018 EFY:
   2. Valid Certificate of Registration from the concerned governmental authority, which is renewed for 2018 EFY:
   3. Tax clearance Certificate which states that the firm is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid up to 28 days after bid submission date.
   4. Registration as supplier in the list of the mandated public body.
   5. General Industry Experience of more than Five (05) years:
4. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in the Bidding Documents.
5. Details of the requirements for this bid and eligibility criteria etc. can be found in the bid document at the Haverim Construction GC Head Office at the address given below, from 8:30AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00PM from Monday to Friday and from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday.
6. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be collected by interested bidders on submission of a written application and presentation of the documents mentioned under item (3) above to the company and up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 250.

7. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, "Technical Proposal" in one envelope and "Financial Proposal" in the other envelope, the two envelopes shall be sealed in an outer single envelope.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address specified be low within seven (7) working days of the publication of the notice on the newsletter. The bids will be closed at 2:00 PM of the last day. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 25,000.00. Late bids will be rejected. Submitted Technical Proposals will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who chose to attend, at the address given below, on the final date at 2:30 PM.
