Invitation to Bid

The Arba Minch Zuria Woreda Finance Office in the Gamo Zone wishes to purchase-farm tools planned under the Sustainable Land Management Program (SLMP-V) for the Woreda's Agriculture Office / Department of Natural Resource Management for the year 2025 through an open bidding process.

Accordingly, individuals and organizations engaged in the sector can compete in the tender provided they meet the following criteria:

They must submit renewed business licenses, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) certificates, supplier certificates, business registration certificates, and Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificates attached to the tender document.

A bid security of 20,000 (Twenty Thousand) Birr is required for each lot separately. This must be provided in the form of a CPO (Certified Payment Order), cash, or a bid bond guaranteed by a bank, using one of the methods permitted in the procurement directive.

Bidders can obtain the tender document free of charge by appearing in person at the office's procurement and property administration during regular working hours. In the event of any quality defects in the goods, the supplier is responsible for immediately correcting or replacing them.

Bidders must fill out the bid price document without any cancellations or deletions, sign every page, and affix the organization's seal. The document must be sealed in an envelope, which should also indicate the type of tender, phone number, and the organization's seal, and be deposited in the dedicated bid box on the specified day.

The winning bidder must be willing to enter into a contract with the office and deliver the goods, ensuring they meet quality standards and are timely, to our office, bearing all transportation and unloading costs.

The tender will remain open for 15 consecutive days starting from the date this announcement is published in the newspaper. The bid box will be sealed on the 16th working day at 11:00 AM (5:00 local time) and opened on the same day at 2:00 PM (8:00 local time) in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at the office's procurement and property administration division. If the 16th day is not a working day, the process will take place on the next working day at the same time.

The office reserves the right to cancel the tender in whole or in part if it finds a better alternative.
