IFB Title-Small Works Contract One Borehole Drilling, Installation of Casing, Gravel Packing, Well Development & Pumping Test National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

1. Silte zone has allocated finds towards the drilling of WERABET SHAMA Rural Corridor Villages well drilling projects which will be disbursed according to the Ethiopia Fiscal Year.

The Siltie zone Water Mine & Energy Department now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of WERABET SHAMA Rural Corridor Villages Small Works Contract- Borehole drilling installation of PVC casing & observation pipe, gravel packing, well development and pumping test Project in Siltie zone Hulbarag woreda in Central Ethiopia Regional States.

2. The Works consist of One hundred fifty meter (150 m) well drilling,

Supply and install of PVC casing & well sorted river gravel packing. well development, pumping test (all types of pump tests, like provisional, variable, constant & recovery tests) 6m well grouting, Construction of standard well head/0.75*0.75*1m/ & well capping Construction of well drilling Project.

3. Bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening
4. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of 70,000.00 Birr in the form of bank guarantee, CPO, cash, check, or any other valid security and shall remain valid for 90 days.
5. Bidders must obtain registration for category WWDCS above and above with valid license for the current year.
6. Qualification requirement include: 1/ owner ship and/or existing lease of relevant equipment and machinery (one rig, one Dump truck, One Service Car, crane welding machine, generator (125 k v and above) riser pipe (2.5 inch and above pump and dip meter etc. 2/ Specific experience of at least one project in water works construction of similar nature and complexity. 3/ availability of relevant experienced personnel as provided in the bidding document with others additional details.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licences with originals from Siltie zone Finance and economy Department, Worabe Town, Telephone number 0467710182/183, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00.
8. Bids must be delivered to the Siltie zone Finance and economy Department, Room number 3. Worabe Town, Telephone number 0467710182, on the 15 calendar day on The Ethiopian Herald at 2:00 p.m. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on the last submission date at Siltie zone Finance and economy Department, Worabe Town.
10. Bidder must provide a complete set of one original technical Proposal & two copy together with the bid document 1 original &2copy of financial.
11. The Department reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
