Title: Installation of Indian Mark II Hand pump at Gambela Region

Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization (ASDEPO) is an Ethiopian non-governmental non-profit making humanitarian organization. Currently, ASDEPO is implementing a project called "Integrated Cholera Response through Health and WASH Interventions in Gambela Woreda, Gambela town and Itang Special Woreda of Gambela Region."

In line with its mission, ASDEPO in partnership with its donors, wants to do installation of 15 Indian Mark II Hand Pumps in Gambela Region, different locations as follows:

• Gambela Woreda:

• 1 site in Pignkew Ebaro Sefer
• 1 site in Pukneg Kebele
• 1 site in Pimoli
• 1 site in Abol Town
• 1 site in Bonga Kebele Village

• Gambela Town:

Sites located in Kebeles 01(2 sites), 03, 04, and 05

• Itang Special Woreda:

• sites in Pilul Kebele
• 1 site in War Kebele
• sites in liea Kebele

Our approach is emphasizing local participation, an integration of services, strategic partnerships. In this way, we empower communities to find, design, and implement the solutions that work best for them. Therefore, ASDEPO requested interested and eligible contractors to submit their company profile that contain at least below listed mandatory documents and their financial offer for the above-mentioned work as per the BOQ specified in a separate document. The BoQ shall be taken from ASDEPO Gambela Field Office.

The organization will strictly evaluate based on at least but not limited to the following evaluation criteria during selection of contractors.

1. Essential Criteria

• Valid Trade Registration License, Valid Business License, Tax Identification number (TIN) certificate, Value Added Tax Certificate, Tax Clearance

2. Capability Criteria

• Valid WWC 7 and above, GC -6 License and above grade 6.
• Firms experience as a primary contractor for the past four years,
• Proposed key personnel-meet WWC 6 and GC-5 requirements.
• Cumulative volume of work for the past 3 years, is at least 1,000,000 ETB and above.
• Experience as a primary contractor for the past years especially in an emergency response projects and successfully accomplished it considered as advantageous.

3. Financial Criteria

• Financial proposal offered based on the BoQs which indicates validity period.
• Bid bond-5% of the financial offer shall be presented.

4. Additional requirement

A contractor will deliver all materials input for the installation work. And a contractor is expected to execute the work including provision of all required equipment's for the work. Bidders who know the local operation areas and context are preferable

How to apply: -

Applicants should take necessary documents and/BoQs from ASDEPO Gambela field office and submit their proposal that contain at least above-mentioned documents and 5% bid bond not later than October 10, 2025 at 10:00 am local time (morning) during working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm) at ASDEPO Gambela field office. The proposal will be opened on October 10, 2025 at 10:30 am local time (morning) with the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who want to attend.
