The Jimma City Administration invites eligible bidders under the contract for the construction of projects listed below

1. Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery from Hassen Garaj to lalo Hotel (Both side) at Bacho Bore Kebele segment – 5 Package number. Jimma/IR/W-01/2018
2. Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery from Dashin Bank to Bacho Bridge (Both side) at Hirmata Merkato Kebele segment – 6 Package number Jimma/IR/W-02/2018
3. Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery from City center to photo park (Both side) at Hirmata Merkato Kebele segment - 7 Package number Jimma/RF/UIIDP-1/W-03/2018
4. Construction of Masonry Drainage from Dippo Asphalt Junction to Dynamic Drainage at Kochi kebele Package number Jimma /IR/W-10/2018

   1. The City Administration now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision and construction of projects listed above
   2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible GC-Level-4 (Iv), RC-level-3(III) and above for Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery segment - 5, for Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery segment - 6, for Construction of Walkway

scicle lane & greenery segment -7 and for Masonry Drainage, GC-Level-4 (Iv)/ BC-level-3(III)/RC- level-3(III) and above for Construction of mini stadiyem for youth and GC-Level-5 (v), RC-level-4(IV) and Machinery rental for all maintenance of earth road and above for Maintenance of earthen road (Lot - 1), for Maintenance of earthen road (Lot - 2) and for Maintenance of earthen road (Lot - 3) they are required to submit a business license renewed for the current year (2018), VAT registration certificate and tax payer registration certificate (TIN) from legally authorized body to do so.

1. 3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents during official working hours at the address below. Bidders (contractors), following another procurement procedure, who made past contractual obligations with Jimma City Administration and have project(s) on hand whose current outstanding performance is less than 70% are not eligible to participate in this bid.
   4. Bidders who apply more than one project from the Jimma City Administration under invitation in the same time shall submit their bid separately for each project they are interested to apply for. However, bidder may be considered on the projects under invitations subjected to fulfilling of the aggregate of Qualification Criteria for individual and multiple projects specified in the respective bidding documents. If not, the client is subject to consider only the preceding bid based on the date of invitation or the date & time of bid Opening.
   5.  A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of the 1st day announcement on this newspaper by interested bidders on the submission of a written application (request) accompanied by copies of renewed business license, competency registration certificate, other necessary documents and certificates to the address set forth below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 1,606 (One thousand six hundred six) during official working hours.

Bid must be delivered on or before 21 Working days from 1st day announcement during working hours to the address below and on the 21th Working day no later than 2:30P.M and for each must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian birr 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand Birr), for Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery segment -5, for Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery segment - 6, for Construction of Walkway scicle lane & greenery segment -7 and for Construction of mini stadiyem for youth, a bid security of Ethiopian birr 400,000.00(Four hundred thousand Birr), for Construction of Masonry Drainage and, a bid security of Ethiopian birr 200,000.00(Two hundred thousand Birr), for Maintenance of earthen road (Lot - 1), for Maintenance of earthen road (Lot -2) and for Maintenance of earthen road (Lot - 3)

1. 6. The bid security is as the bidder's option, be in the form of CPO (certified cheque) or unconditional bank guarantee issued by a domestic bank in the name of Jimma city Administration. The bid security in the form of unconditional bank guarantee shall be submitted using the Bid Security Form included in Section 4, Bidding Forms of Bidding Document. Late bids after bid submission due date and time shall be rejected/returned unopened. Technical document & Bid bond will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below on the 21th working day of the first day announcement at 3:00 P.M. Prospective qualified (responsive) bidders will be notified for the date of financial opening and public reading of bid prices.
   7. The City Administration reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
