Action Against Hunger is the independent, non-political and nonprofit Humanitarian Organization that has been implementing, emergency rapid response, rehabilitation and developmental programs in different parts of Ethiopia since 1985 GC it has re-registered legally at the federal democratic republic of Ethiopia as charities and societies agency/CSA Under registration number 0032.
Action Against Hunger is currently implementing an emergency project funded by GFFO and ECHO in Borena Zone and Waghimra Zone respectively. As part of this project, we plan to install a solar-powered pumping system for the existing borehole in Dibe Gaya Kebele. Teltele Woreda, Borena Zone and Soka town, Saka kebele, Abergele Woreda of Wag-Himro Zone
We are now seeking competitive and experienced vendors to participate in the tender for the full outsourcing of the supply and installation works. Therefore, Action Against Hunger requested interested contractors/suppliers to submit company profiles with the finance/price offer according to the document prepared for the bid that contains at least the below listed mandatory documents:
- Administrative documents (Copy)
- Valid business license for 2017 E.C
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate
- Value Added Tax Certificate
- Technical documents (Copy)
- Legal/proven certificate of work experience in the past five years from different organizations for its successful completion of at least three similar projects of solar powered pumping system for community water supply.
- The company has a quality certificate for the product.
- Details of clearly defined technical data for the required solar powered pumping system
- Company's personnel at least meet the requirements specifically for Solar Powered Pumping system installation and commissioning
- Proof of adequate financial capacity to undertake the works (including audited financial statements for the past 2-3 years)
- Evaluation Criteria-
- Administrative Companies submitting the above listed administrative documents will be compliant
- Technical Evaluation (70%)
- Financial evaluation (30%)

- Bid bond is not required by AAH
- Applicants should submit their company profile that contains the above-mentioned documents from 31st Aug.2025 to 20th Sep. 2025 during office working hours (8:00AM to 5:00PM) at Addis Ababa, Bole Airport Road, behind DH Geda Tower during office working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm).
