Invitation to Bid for Audit Service (2nd)

Tesfa Berhan Child & Family Development Organization is a child and youth focused local Organization. It was established on September 13/ 2009 and re-registered at the Authority for Civil Society Organizations on September 10/ 2019 according to CSO proclamation 1113/2011. It is currently operating in Amhara and Tigray Regions in partnership with ChildFund Ethiopia, SOS Children's Villages in Ethiopia and Jerusalem Children and Community Development Organization.

The Organization would like to invite external auditors under the approved list of the Authority for Civil Society Organization (ACSO) & Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia /AABE/ to perform the three years Audit of project books of account for the period of July 8, 2024 to July 07, 2027. The organization has five active Projects and Separate bank accounts and books including staff severance account. The organization is looking for a consolidated audit report but may also require the audit firms to prepare project specific audit reports based on the donor's demand. The reports will be produced using IPSAS system and based on requirements of the regulatory body.

Interested audit firms who wish to send their proposal should have

1. Renewed professional license
2. Registered certified chartered accountants
3. Tax identification number and Value Added Tax (VAT) certificate
4. Renewed business license
5. Adequate and experienced personnel CVs

The bid must also include the profile of the audit firm with emphasis on experience; qualification and number of staff who will be assigned to perform the audit; tentative date of starting the audit: the time required to complete the audit; and fees required for the audit services including professional fees; transportation & allowances and applicable taxes..

Interested bidders can submit their price proposal and testimonies within 5 working days starting from the date of announcement of this bid on Reporter. Bids will be closed on the 6th working day at 10:30 AM and will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 1% of the total proposed prices with a bank CPO.

The organization reserves the right to fully or partially cancel the bid.

N.B. Tesfa Berhan Child & Family Development Organization has Safeguarding and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies which the auditors also need to understand and sign to respect.
