Invitation to Tender

Bid No ASPSC/ICB /NCB/01/2018

Afar Salt production S.C. invites all eligible International (ICB) and National (NCB) bidders for the Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of;

1. Salt purification plant line which includes;
   1. Salt crushing Machine
   2. Screw washing Machine
   3. Centrifuge Machine
   4. Conveying Systems
   5. Other related equipment such us Tankers, Pipes and Pumps which are required to seamlessly connect all stages of the purification plant line
2. Bid document which contains invitation to bid, Instruction to bidders, detailed descriptions of the items, price schedule, draft contract and other related documents are attached herewith.
3. Bidders can obtain the documents from office No.5 upon a non-refundable payment of birr 500.00 (five hundred birr.) in the working hours from 2:30-11:00 LT during tender floatation period.
4. Bidders should present a copy of renewed Trade license, VAT registration certificate, TIN certificate, Valid Tax clearance certificate, and other relevant documents with their bidding document (for domestic bidders)
5. Foreign bidders must as appropriate submit business organization registration certificate or trade license issued by the country of establishment.
6. Original Technical Proposal should be accompanied by a bid security of birr 100,000.00 in the form of C.P.O. or Unconditional bank guarantee from reputable local bank.
7. Bidders should submit one original and one copy of each technical and financial proposal document in wax sealed envelope and present it on or before September 19, T 2025 at 4:00 morning LT. All legal admissible documents should be attached with original technical proposal.
8. Technical offer of bidders will be opened on September 19, 2025 at 4:30 morning LT in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
9. Technical proposal of eligible bidder is evaluated according to the requirements and points allocated for each criteria that are attached with the bid document.
10. Afar Salt production S.C. reserves the right to reject any or all the bids.
