The Global Alliance for improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.

The Global Alliance for improved Nutrition (GAIN) would like to invite eligible and interested firms to submit bids for the supply, development, and/or fabrication of the following product:

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Interested and eligible manufacturers with relevant experience in the development and fabrication of similar products are invited to participate. Bidders must present a renewed trade license, VAT registration certificate, and TIN certificate.

2. BIDDERS MUST SUBMIT 2% OF THE OFFER AS A BID BOND through bank guarantee or cash payment order CPO up on submission of your documents the bid security validity period shall be 120 days starts from the date of bid submission deadline.
3. BID DOCUMENT COLLECTION

Bidding documents will be available for collection starting from Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

4. BID VALIDITY

The bid price shall remain valid for 90 days from the date of submission.

1. 1. Submission Format, Bidders must submit Technical and Financial Proposals in separate sealed envelopes. The financial proposal must be submitted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) only.
   2. Bid Submission Deadline

Sealed bid documents must be submitted in the designated bid box on or before August 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM GMT+3 at the specified location.

1. 3. Disqualification Clause

Failure to comply with any of the conditions stated in points 1 through 6 will result in automatic disqualification of the bid.

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either partially or in full, without assigning any reason.
