Nib Insurance Company S.C. (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible international and domestic construction firms of GC/BC-1 for the execution of Phase I: Finishing, Fitting-Out, and Aluminum-Glass Curtain Wall Façade Works for its 4B+G+18-storey Head Office Building, located on Africa Avenue, Woreda 02, Kirkos Sub-City, Addis Ababa. The structural works have already been completed.

1. 1. Project Scope

The scope of work includes the provision of all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and services to complete:

• Aluminum- Glass curtain wall facade, for the entire building
• Interior partition and finishing for Podium, basement and portion of the Tower
• Fitting-out of podium and basement levels and first fix for the Tower.

The total duration of construction is 540 calendar days from the commencement date.

1. 2. Eligibility Requirements

• 1.  For International Bidders (Documents authenticated by their Embassies and Ministry of Foreign Affairs):
• Valid Trade License (2025)
• Valid Business Registration (2025)
  2. For Domestic and Locally Registered Foreign Bidders:

• Valid Trade Registration Certificate
• Valid Trade License
• Valid Certificate of Competence (from relevant authority)
• Tax Clearance Certificate (valid at bid submission date)
• VAT Registration Certificate
• TIN Registration Certificate
• Registration on the Suppliers List of the Federal Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (FPPPAA)
  3. Purchase of Bidding Documents

• A complete set of Bidding Documents in English can be purchased at the above address upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 5,000.00 (Five Thousand) Documents must be collected in person.
  4. Bid Document Inspection and Clarifications

Interested eligible bidders inspect the bidding documents and may obtain further information at the following address during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–12:00 AM and 2:00 PM–5:00 PM). Any enquiries must be submitted no later than 14 days before the bid submission deadline.

• Bids must remain valid for a period of 120 calendar days from the submission deadline.
• Late bids will be rejected.
  6. Bid Security

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 5,000,000.00 (Five Million Birr) in a freely convertible currency, issued in the form of a CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee made payable to: Nib Insurance Company S.C.The Bid Security must be valid for at least 150 calendar days.
