The CERS Irrigation Scheme Development and Administration Agency now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders having renewed registration licenses as below for the execution of the following project

1. 1. The Government of Ethiopia has received finance from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ethiopia Food System Resilience Program (EFSRP) for the procurement of proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Dagag & Gurde SSIP canal upgrading and expansion construction work.
   2. The CERS Irrigation Scheme Development and Administration Agency now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders having renewed registration licenses as below for the execution of the following project;

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application letter and copies of necessary renewed licenses with originals from the address below at or before 2:00 P.M. on August 29, 2025 G.C. beginning from the announcement date, upon payment of non- refundable fee of 500.00 (Five hundred birr only).
   4. Eligible bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding process must submit competence certificate renewed for 2017 E.C with category of WWC/GWWC Grade-1 (One), VAT & TIN registration certificate, renewed trade license for 2017 E.C, Valid tax clearance certificate, Suppliers list from PPPAA and 1 (one) original & 2 (two) copies of separately sealed technical and financial documents.
   5. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security valid for 90 calendar days from bid submission deadline in the form of either unconditional Bank guarantee issued by a bank or CPO as indicated on the table above to Central Ethiopia Regional State Irrigation Scheme Development and Administration Agency address.
   6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 P.M. on August-29, 2025 G.C. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of bidders & bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 2:30 P.M August-29, 2025 G.C.
   7. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the address below during office hours [Monday to Friday Morning 8:30 A.M to 12:30 PM and Afternoon 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM].
   8. Bidding will be conducted through the NCB procedure specified in the World Bank's Guidelines; Procurement under IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
   9. The Agency reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
