The Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise sealed bid document from the public for the sales of the following unused items are shown below:

Instruction for Bidders:

All unused items shall be sold on the physical condition "where is basis, and without additional resources of warranties of any kind.

Bidders who wish to apply should submit their offers in envelopes and bid must be accompanied by separate bid security in terms of CPO from recognized bank. The value shall be 10% from the total coater price.

Site visit is mandatory and it is organized for interested bidders during working hours only on Mondays to Fridays from 03:00-6:00 and 8:00-11:00 local time.

1. The Bid Form shall be made available during the site visit to interested bidders and shall be filled, signed, and submitted in sealed envelope, addressed to: Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise office.
2. The acceptable currencies for submission of bids is ETB. Therefore, the bid amount shall be written in words and figures on the bid form as provided to avoid any ambiguity. Bid forms that do not fulfill these requirements will automatically be disqualified without any consultation with the bidder.
3. The bid security in the form of CPO shall be issued in the name of Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise. The bid security shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders after the completion of the bid process.
4. The deadline for purchase of bid is 10 (Ten working days) after announcement on press. Bids submitted after the closing date and time will not be accepted on whatever circumstances.
5. The Bid closed on 11th day Morning from announcement on press at 04:00 local time and Bid Opening on the same day 4:30 local time at Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation. Service Enterprise office in the presence of registered bidders to allow him/her to attend bid opening session.
6. The items sold to the winning bidder must be removed from the premises of Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise office within fifteen (15) working days after payment is received and/or payment confirmation. In the event the winning bidder fails to remove the items after payment within the specified dates, a penalty of Ethiopian Birr Two thousand five hundred birr (ETB 2,500.00) per days. The Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise office shall not be held responsible for any damage caused to the items while in its custody.
7. The Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise office will not provide any assistance, neither mechanical nor manpower, for the removal of the any item under public sales.
8. Bid document selling price 500 (five hundred)
9. The Jimma Town Water Supply and Sanitation Service Enterprise office reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel any or all bids without providing any justification whatsoever.
