URGENT BID ANNOUNCEMENT

Fayyaa Integrated Development Organization (FIDO) is implementing a new project: "Lymphatic Filariasis Mapping and Management project" through support obtained from NaPAN. For this BID, FIDO invites vendors to offer the following list of Items:

Important Information

1. Bidding Documents: Can be purchased at the FIDO Head Office in Addis Ababa for a non-refundable fee of 300 Birr (Three Hundred ETB). This will be available starting from June 23, 2025, for 5 consecutive days. The bid will close on June 27. 2025, at 3:00 PM and will be opened at 3:15 PM the same day.

2. Bid Security: Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the offered price, in the form of CPO only, addressed to FIDO, and attached to the original financial document.

3. Vendor Eligibility: Any vendor with a termination history with the Oromia Region Finance and Economic Corporation Office. Disaster and Risk Management Office, or FIDO, and those with proven bad performance in past contracts may be rejected during technical evaluation.

4. Document Integrity: Submission of forged documents or indication of financial offers on qualification documents will result in bid rejection and reporting to the concerned body.

5. Technical Documents: A separate technical document detailing specifications and expiration dates must be provided. Bids lacking this will be rejected.

6. Sample Submission: A sample of each item must be provided on the day of bid opening before the opening time.

7. Bid Marking: Bids must be clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, legal stamp, and reference number.

8. Envelope Requirements: Bidders must deliver items in a wax- sealed envelope containing two separate envelopes: one for financial documents (CPO only, valid for three months post-opening) and one for technical documents. Each should have one original and one copy, clearly marked "ORIGINAL" and "COPY". Discrepancies will be resolved in favor of the original document. All documents must be sealed within one mother envelope.

9. Bid Acceptance: The organization reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in full or in part.

10. Delivery Timeline: Winning bidders must deliver items within three days after the bid closes.

11. Bid Quantity: No partial bids per item are allowed. Bidders cannot bid for partial quantities of an item.

12. Required Certificates: A copy of the VAT certificate, a renewed trade license for 2016 EC a taxpayer registration certificate, and a valid tax clearance certificate must be submitted with the application.
